Heart and Home Channel Debutes.

Providing encouragement for the heart and music for the home, the Heart and Home Channel began broadcasting on March 9, 2008.  It is a 24-hour station featuring great Southern Gospel music, Our Daily Bible Reading, Living Water from the Psalms, and Cedar Valley Live!

The Channel Host is our network president, Rev. Gary Shelton.  Broadcasting from our central studios, he is currently handling all the channel related programming.  He can be contacted by email at host@cedarvalleynetwork.com

New feature programs will be added soon.  Focus will focus on God's word using questions from our listening audience.  To submit your Bible question or question about matters of faith, send an email with your first name, city and state (or city and country), and your question to: focus@cedarvalleynetwork.com.

Go to www.ubroadcast.com to download the player needed to listen to the station.  Once downloaded, type in 10085 in the white block next to the word "Jump" at the top of the player.

Overwhelming Response

After the first days of intial testing on line, we are now in the transition phase of making the Heart and Home Channel a permanent fixture on the world wide web in global broadcasting.

The listening audience is growing which is evidenced by the large number of emails we are already receiving.  During the evening of March 18th for the Cedar Valley Live! show, we repeatedly crashed the servers until more resources could be reallocated to meet the phenomenal demand from around the world.

If you are one of the already regular listeners to the Heart and Home Channel - we APPRECIATE YOU.  Thank you for helping us be successful from almost the first day.

Now pray for us that we will do this right.  Contact us and let us know what we can do better.  And please keep listening - we are just getting started.

Prayer Team goes to work.

On March 18th, during the evening broadcast of Cedar Valley Live!, Rev. Shelton announced that the Prayer Team is already at work to provide a 24-hour link to a prayer warrior for anyone desiring prayer or spiritual counsel anywhere in the world.

The Prayer Team is a small, growing group of concerned Christians who are trained to lift up confidential requests to our Heavenly Father no matter what the need. Annoucements will be made in April concerning when the Prayer Team will be opened up, first nationally in the USA and later internationally, qualified participation. Be listening to the Heart and Home Channel during the Cedar Valley Live! show each weekday starting at 8:00 pm Central Time and visit the Prayer Team's page for more information about this.

Prayer requests should include a first name, city and state or city and country from which the request is coming.  They may be emailed to:  prayerteam@cedarvalleynetwork.com.

NEW NETWORK SHOW:   "Focus on God's Word"

April 5, 2008

The Cedar Valley Network is pleased to announce the airing of "Focus on God's Word", a Bible question and answer program. It may be heard each weekend on the Heart and Home Channel through the webcasting clock. For now questions of a similar theme are gathered from listeners' emails. Plans are underway to also used listener's mp3 recordings of their own voices asking the questions.

Audience participation is vital.   We need your questions concerning the Bible and matters of faith. Questions should be brief, to the point and meant to learn from God's Word about some matter of the Bible itself or about a life of faith.  Please include your first name, city and state or city and country from which the request is coming.  Email your questions to:  focus@cedarvalleynetwork.com.

Initially, the Channel Host, Rev. Gary Shelton, will also host Focus.  Once the show is fully developed, guest hosts such as noted ministers and local pastors will be invited to participate on-air, as well.

The Heart and Home Channel programming opportunities are growing!

Weekday programming continues with around the clock Southern Gospel music with some occassional Blue-grass Gospel and Country Gospel, too. Through out the 24-hour period the weekday shows include, "Our Daily Bible Reading" and "Living Water from the Psalms". "Cedar Valley Live" goes online with live interviews, local gospel artists, network program information and much more each weekday evenings at 8:00 pm Central Time.

Weekends continue with great Southern Gospel Music and "Our Daily Bible Reading." A new program, "Focus on God's Word" has been added to provide answers to Bible questions.
