About the Heart and Home Channel |
The Heart and Home Channel is like the flagship of our fleet. As our first webcasting channel in the network, it is designed to:
Provide resources that uplift the heart and strengthen the family home.
Introduce visitors to our entire ministry, our full line-up of webcasting channels and guide them to other resources that may be helpful to them.
And serve as a positive witness for Jesus Christ in a world that is increasingly hostile to the things of God's Kingdom.
Everything we webcast is designed to be family-friendly and Christian-oriented.

Heart and Home Channel Programming |
Every week the following types of programs are refreshed either daily, twice weekly or weekly (dependening upon the type of content).
Children's shows that are educational and fun with a spiritually-based content. This includes Bible stories and Bible character cartoons.
Basic Bible study classes designed to interest the lay person or a non-believer into discovering the meaning of God's Word and its application to daily life.
Preaching and worship presentations.
Christian-oriented entertainment in the form of a classic Bible story/character movie or special music program.

Live Programs - Cedar Valley Live |
We currently have only one live program. It is "Cedar Valley Live" hosted each weeknight from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm Central Time by Gary Shelton.
Southern Gospel music sets the theme, many local artists and groups from around the nation are mentioned, news, views, artist interviews, missionary information, weather, earthquake, energy and other topics important to the day are always included.
About the Host:
Bro. Shelton is our ministry chaplain and the general manager of CVN. He has an eclectic background of over 30 years in ministry, as well as, business, broadcasting, writing, and professional disaster relief. As a young teenager he began his formal church ministry career as the pianist of his home Church. He was licensed and ordained by his home churche as a minister of the Gospel. He is a licensed minister of the independent methodist churches. Along the way, he was a soldier in the United States Army and became a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, later the South Carolina and the Mississippi Guards. He served at the rank of Colonel and retired from military service at the retired rank of Brigadier General.

Volunteers Needed Urgently!!! |
The Heart and Home Channel needs voice artists and actors to volunteer to help in the production of Bible-based plays. Some would be able to perform their parts at home using audio recording software we will provide for free along with basic instructions. Others would be invited to convenient central locations such as churches to record as a group or perform live.
These are original skits and plays in the style of old-fashioned radio. Group performance would be either standing or around a table. A live audience might also be present under certain circumstances for spontaneous reaction..
Church youth groups, adult choirs, and Sunday School classes would be ideal group volunteer situations.
